You'll Always Return for Another Vacation
in The Northern Wilderness

Escape From Civilization In Your Own Private And Remote Cottage

Accommodations

Most of our cottages are accessible by water only, as they have been built for maximum privacy.  Two cottages are even on islands!  Some cottages have their own sandy beach where only you will swim and enjoy the sun.

The cottages are scattered over several miles of Dog Lake.  You'll travel by water to your secluded cottage where you'll enjoy your own private domain.

Two cottages are situated at the base site if you prefer to drive your vehicle up to a cottage.

Our attractive housekeeping cottages are fully furnished and supplied with propane refrigerators with small freezer capacities, ranges with ovens and lighting.  The cottages are also wired for electrical lighting if you choose to bring a small generator.

Blankets, towels, utensils, cookware, and gas BBQ's are all supplied.  YOU MUST BRING YOUR OWN LINENS OR SLEEPING BAGS.

  • Each cottage is a home in itself where you, your family and friends will enjoy days of carefree vacationing.
  • Each cottage has two bedrooms and a large living room/kitchen.
  • Each cottage has cold running water.   One has both hot and cold water and it's own shower.
  • All cottages have outdoor facilities.
  • Each cottage has a private boat dock.
  • Most cottages accommodate at least six guests; some up to 12.

  • Secure and free parking is provided for all guests of Northern Wilderness Cottages.
  • Our boat launch is capable of launching boats up to 25 feet in length.
  • A 24 hour centralized shower and toilet facility is located at our base site.
  • We sell  ice, gas, fishing licenses and various supplies at our office.
  • We sell live bait (minnows, leeches, worms).   We ask that you please use local bait to help prevent the spread of non-native species.
